Our Practices
We believe it is important to help narrow the gap that exists between consumers and their food. We want to help people connect with the land and understand where their food comes from. We believe in raising our herd with as little human interference as possible – the way nature intended.
Native cattle thrive in the wild and rich grasslands of Palo Pinto County, just 40 miles west of Fort Worth, Texas. Our cattle’s unique habitat of seasonal grasses, abundant water and topographical variances yield a one of kind flavor, filled with complexity.
We practice rotational grazing in our pastures ensuring healthy soils and grasses year-round and helps maintain overall herd health. Our herd flourishes eating from the nutrient rich land and drinking lots of fresh water from the Brazos River as well as other natural freshwater sources.
