Macro Mushroom - Agaricus urinascens

Description

A large, often massive mushroom. The cap is 8 to 30 cm, creamy white or with a slight ochre tint that splits to reveal woolly or scaly patches. Stem height 10 to 14 cm. This species has the largest spores of all Agaricus species.

Most Agaricus species can be difficult to identify with 100% certainty without detailed examination, often involving microscopic review of the spores.  A red box around the image indicates that we think it is likely to be this species but can't be 100% certain.
