Miyagia pseudosphaeria

Description

Miyagia pseudosphaeria is a rust fungus that causes leaf spots bearing uredinia and telia on Sow-thistles (Sonchus). There is no host alternation.  The leaves may be slightly deformed, but this is not a gall-causing species.
