Chris O'Dowd asked British TV personality Dawn Porter to be his wife on December 26 -- and it's only gone downhill from there!

"You don't have to f-ck all the time to have a great relationship," O'Dowd, 32, joked to New York Magazine's Vulture. "I'm really looking forward to having less and less sex. That's really what I'm looking forward to. I don't like to be too happy."
Unlike his character in "Friends With Kids," O'Dowd has no plans to start a family of his own anytime soon. As it turns out, he's one of the few childless chaps in his circle of friends.
"All of 'em are f-cking doing it behind my back, almost selfishly," he joked. "Not taking our friendship into consideration and just going off and ruining their lives by having children."

"In the last year, three of my friends have done it. I just don't know them anymore. No -- it's good; obviously, it's great," O'Dowd tells Vulture. "But I don't see them as much, and whenever I do I have to hang out with this little, flabby-skinned sh-t who's terrible at drinking games."
"Friends With Kids" is in theaters Friday.
