Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness – how’s that working for you these days? Got a job that pays the bills? Bank account looking empty? Got your mask on? How about that crime thing? Our Classic American Values – Freedom of Speech (replaced by cancel culture), Rule of Law (replaced by authoritarian edicts), Separation of Powers (laws made by Congress replaced by executive orders) and the list goes on. Madness has crept across this beautiful, free, friendly and bountiful country. Are our elected representatives incompetent? Or, are they trying to tear this great nation down?

North Carolina can send a leader, not a career politician, to fight for us. Businessman, husband, grandfather, home-grown North Carolinian, a “rational” conservative, Ken Harper seeks a voice in the Senate because enough is enough. Why a “rational” conservative? Answer: in a world of fake news and false narratives spun left and right, we need to dig hard and deep to uncover the truth. Being safe by running head down inside the herd is simply no longer an option.

To thrive in business, decisions must be made based on core principles like cutting cost, being innovative, listening to customers, exercising personal responsibility, working hard and working smart. Why not the same for government?
