Lincolnshire Co-Op Pharmacies are now offering a service to treat Urinary Tract Infections. Below are all the details you might need, or visit their website Test & Treat Urinary Tract Infection Service (lincolnshire.coop) to read more information.

Don’t wait days to treat a UTI.

UTIs are common in women and while they can be very uncomfortable, they are usually easy to treat, especially when diagnosed on time.

We’re supporting the new NHS UTI Test & Treat Service in our Lincolnshire pharmacies.

Most cases of UTIs require treatment which we will be able to offer without needing to see a GP.

Our pharmacists are fully qualified to interpret and advise your treatment options based on your results – which may include prescriptions medications.

UTI symptoms include:

  • Pain or stinging sensation when passing urine
  • Needing to pass urine suddenly
  • Cloudy urine
  • Passing small volumes of urine more frequently
  • Having to get up in the middle of the night to pass urine
  • Discomfort in your lower tummy
  • How does the service work?
  • One of their pharmacists will ask you a few questions about your symptoms and if you are eligible you will be offered a course of treatment.
