The Morley Library Children’s Room held its second Cookies & Canvas program on March 22.
The theme of the program was ‘Lots of Dots with Seurat,’ featuring the pointillism paintings of French painter Georges Seurat. The children learned about the artist and his unique style of painting, and then got to work on creating their own pointillism masterpieces.
Cookies were enjoyed and the artists were very pleased with their creations. Future ‘Cookies & Canvas’ events are being planned for this summer.
