Yucaipa’s Uptown Historic District gets its entrance arch

Monday evening was festive around Second Street and Yucaipa Boulevard as Wayne Simmons and his entourage with a large boom and trucks parked at the roundabout and proceeded to install the cross beam to the Uptown’s entrance arch. The process was very slow and careful as each element was put into place. The arch also features lighting at night and the words “Come Again” are featured on the back of the sign as motorists exit.
