Ramiro Davila

- Lead Fellow

A native of Quito, Ecuador who relocated to the U.S. at the age of three, Ramiro has lived in various U.S. regions up until his 2020 graduation from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Connecticut. As a Ridgefield High student, Ramiro served as a board member for Key Club, VP of the Young Democrats Club, and Secretary of the Environmental Sustainability Club. Apart from being a nationally-ranked tennis player for the past 6 years, Ramiro has dedicated the great majority of his extracurricular life to community outreach, international service, and of course politics. Most recently, Ramiro co-founded The 1Gen Initiative, a youth-driven mutual aid organization aimed at bridging the generational gap created by the COVID-19 pandemic by gathering high school and college-aged volunteers to deliver essential items to the elderly and the immunocompromised in their respective communities. In his sophomore year, Ramiro founded South American Strong, a non-profit aimed at providing self-sustainable essential items to underprivileged communities in his home country of Ecuador and its neighboring countries in South America. In his love for politics, Ramiro worked as an intern for CT Senator Will Haskell and more recently for Paulette Jordan, an Idahoan Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Currently a PG student at Weil Prep, Ramiro hopes to attend a liberal arts institution to major in Political Science and attend law school in the future.
