Elephant Working Crane Vehicle + Script
By PepperMan & Crisp

This mod is intended as a modder's resource - you are completely free to use this Elephant mod in any mods you make, as long as you give credit to us

Credits/Special Thanks:

  • Huge credit to Crisp for developing the script for allowing vehicles to pick up other vehicles based on proximity!
  • And of course thanks to all of the amazing people in the Halo Mods discord :)

Features:

  • Custom crane animation on the Elephant - it swings into position when you get in the driver seat
  • The ability to pick up the closest vehicle to the Elephant and attach it to the crane's hook!

How to Use:

  • Spawn the Elephant vehicle into the map
  • If you are in Sapien, make sure to compile and enable map scripts. If you are on the MCC map, ignore this step
  • Drive close to another vehicle (preferably placing the crane's hook over it for a better effect)
  • PRESS YOUR MELEE BUTTON (default is "q" in sapien + mcc) TO ATTACH THE VEHICLE
  • Press your melee button again to detach the vehicle from the crane
  • DISCLAIMER - This WILL NOT work online, simply due to the fact that it functions via map scripting, which is not currently supported over multiplayer :(

Installation Info

  • Extract the "behemoth" folder from the .zip file into "H3EK\tags\objects\levels\multi\shrine", overwriting the original files
  • Extract the "shrine_main.hsc" file into "H3EK\data\levels\multi\shrine\scripts"
  • Open Shrine/Sandtrap in Sapien
  • Compile scripts (if you get errors and this is a fresh shrine.scenario, in the hierarchy view go to Game Data -> Flags and rename the three "audio_cluster" entries to "audio_cluster_1", "audio_cluster_2" and "audio_cluster_3" respectively, and save
  • Done! This does not only work on shrine, this can be used on any map if you simply copy the script data inside shrine_main.hsc to another script file for another map!
