Hikers can explore the popular destination of the “Waltersbachtal” valley on the outskirts of the Deister hill range. The excellent path begins in the Nienstedt district of the town of Bad Münder, which is also known as “the pearl in the Deister” and received its first mention in 1193.

Arrival and departure

Use Hassel car park on Ludwig-Schlepper-Straße, Nienstedt, 31848 Bad Münder.

Public transport: take bus no. 18 from Bad Mündner to Nienstedt. Stop: Spielplatz. From there, it is just a 250 m walk to the hiking trail's starting point.
