Description

Division 13, section pseudo narcissus. In the UK these wild growing, deep golden daffodil is called the Tenby-Daffodil, the national daffodil of Wales. There are several stories circulating about how the daffodil ended up in Wales. The following makes the most sense: In the Middle Ages, Italian monks travelled to western England. On the way through the mountains they took the daffodils with them for medicinal purposes. Perfect species for naturalising.
