Residents like living in NJ., but quality of life drops in urban areas, poll shows

A majority of New Jerseyans continue to say they like living here, but views of the state’s quality of life have fallen significantly among those in urban areas, a new poll shows.

More than 6 in 10 New Jersey adults — 63% — say the Garden State is either an excellent (18%) or good (45%) place to live, according to Monmouth University’s annual Quality of Life poll, released Thursday.
