Repertorio Español, one of the most successful Off-Broadway theaters, was founded in 1968 with a mission to produce the finest Spanish-language theater from Latin America and Spain, as well as plays written by Latinx artists. With over 250 original productions since its inception, Repertorio Español has delighted over 1.5 million people and 750,000 high school students.

The company presents a rotating repertory of plays, musicals, and dance concerts every year, offering audiences a diverse range of performances. Their talented ensemble of experienced and emerging Latino theater artists from various Spanish-speaking nations, as well as the United States, bring these productions to life. Most performances are in Spanish, with English captions available, ensuring that non-Spanish speakers can also enjoy the rich and vibrant world of Latino theater.
