John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls is a married man.
The “Iris” singer tied the knot to longtime girlfriend Melina Galloat Calamigos Ranch in Malibu Friday, People Magazine reports.
“We’ve been together a while and I’m not going anywhere and we’d like to start a family. I’d prefer to be married when I have kids,” the 48-year-old told the mag.
The happy pair said “I do” in front of about 120 guests including Rzeznik’s famed bandmates. “The whole thing was just about family and friends. It was really beautiful and romantic,” Rzeznik said.
The bride reportedly gleamed in an Enzoani gown while Rzeznik donned a dark green Gucci suit instead of a tuxedo.
“We made it perfectly clear that I would not be singing at all at our wedding,” the Dolls’ front man said about singing his own tunes at the affair.
“Our song was Adele’s ‘Make You Feel My Love.’ I love her version of that song,” he said.
The newlyweds are planning to honeymoon in Italy and France after Rzeznik wraps up his tour.
This is the second marriage for Rzeznik, who split from his first wife after four years in 1997, he and Gallo started dating in 2005.
