5. BROWN FACT: Shannon Brown was drafted No. 25 in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, who thought his quickness would bolster their backcourt, but a nagging shin injury hampered Shannon Brown his first NBA season, limiting him to just 23 games.

1. MORRISON FACT: Adam Morrison openly wept on the court with seconds remaining and his college team, Gonzaga, only down by a basket in the 2006 NCAA Tournament. This was the guy the Zags needed at that moment and he was, as one writer put it "sniffling away like a soap opera actress."

1. BROWN FACT: Will the real Shannon Brown please stand up? Shannon Brown shares his name with a well-known female country singer and his dad's name is Chris Brown (again, not the singer.) No word on whether the newest Laker swingman can carry a tune.

2. MORRISON FACT: Adam Morrison was the third player taken overall in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats, behind Andrea Bargnani and LaMarcus Aldridge.

2. BROWN FACT: Shannon Brown was a McDonald's All-American and named Illinois' Mr. Basketball as a senior at Proviso High in Maywood, Illinois. Here, he plays in the Jordan Capital Classic on April 27, 2003.

3. MORRISON FACT: As a junior at Gonzaga, Adam Morrison led the nation in scoring at 28.1 points a game.

3. BROWN FACT: Shannon Brown starred at Michigan State, leading the Spartans with 17.2 points a game his junior season.

4. MORRISON FACT: Adam Morrison sports the worst mustache in the NBA and before he got his hair cut, the worst 'do on the hardwood. Looked more like a grunge rocker from Seattle than a professional basketball player.

4. BROWN FACT: Shannon Brown was kicked out of a Cleveland night club for wearing a baseball cap (against club rules). When he refused to leave, he was knocked to the ground and handcuffed. No arrests were made, but Brown eventually charged the club owners with assault.

5. MORRISON FACT: Adam Morrison finished second in the 2006 National College Player of the Year voting to J.J. Redick of Duke. Here, both are pictured as NBA players in 2008.

8. BROWN FACT: On Aug. 4, 2008, Shannon Brown signed a one-year deal with the Charlotte Bobcats after it became apparent that he wasn't in the Bulls' future plans.

9. MORRISON FACT: Adam Morrison was struggling to stay in Charlotte coach Larry Brown's good graces this season after averaging 4.5 points in 44 games.

9. BROWN FACT: Shannon Brown came off the bench last month and scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds in the Bobcats' overtime victory against the Lakers.
