Feliz Dia de los Muertos or Happy “Day of the Dead”

Dia de los Muertos, or “Day of the Dead,” is a vibrant and sacred Mexican holiday celebrated worldwide. It’s a time to remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed away. This beautiful tradition is a testament to the enduring connection between the living and the deceased, filled with colorful ofrendas (altars), marigolds, sugar skulls, and heartfelt memories.

At Pacifica Graduate Institute, Dia de los Muertos holds a special place in our hearts as it encapsulates the essence of remembrance, connection, and cultural richness. Throughout our campuses, vibrant ofrendas grace our spaces, serving as a heartfelt homage to our departed loved ones. These altars are adorned with marigolds, flickering candles, and personal mementos, creating a tangible connection between the living and the deceased. It’s a way of saying, “Se Te Recuerda” – “You are remembered.”

In embracing Dia de los Muertos, we not only honor the rich cultural traditions that bind us together but also reaffirm the enduring bonds that connect us to our loved ones who have passed on.
