Been a one of my fastest growers for me on the coast of Central FL. It laughed at hurricane Michael and Irma. Been in the ground for 2 years. Seeds on their way.

This palm always looks great. It deserves to be more widely planted.

Wow. They don't like that for us out here on the left coast. Great looking palm...

Great palm!  I just don't have the heat it wants, especially through winter.

That is some impressive growth in such a short period of time.

I've been growing a Dictyosperma album ( I think var. conjugatum) from a 1-3 gallon size (I can't recall now, but it was small) I bought from Mike Harris at a D'Asign sale about 9 years ago. My palm is growing at  a snail's pace. No sign of any trunk yet. I will say, this palm took Hurricane Irma in stride, plus it fared very well both January and December of 2010. I have mine planted in a canopied area, so it more protected than if it was out in the open. Never observed any mineral deficiencies with this palm.

Yours looks like mine, only bigger and better and less crowded. Praying that the canopy holds.
