The Best Camel Toe & Squat Proof Activewear

The Best Camel Toe & Squat Proof Activewear

Posted by Paris & I on

Do you desire the privacy of your privates? Whether or not you have a camel toe depends on the style, material, and shape of your athletic clothing.

The term "camel toe" refers to the visual impact produced when a woman's pants are too tightly fastened to the crotch, emphasising the shape of the vagina AKA a front wedgie. NOTE* there is nothing wrong with a camel toe, but this is just the definition of one.

So why settle for less? You don't need to be wearing uncomfortable activewear that divides your genitalia in half.

Activewear To AVOID ***

1. AVOID Mass Produced / Generic Designs

Since Covid 19 so many activewear brands popped up overnight. The majority of these brands have gone onto sites like Alibaba, ordered generic stock and added their logos.

Alibaba is a wholesale Chinese marketplace for buyers looking to purchase large quantities of products at the lowest price. What does this mean? It just means that the products are not custom and the same pair of leggings are being sold by 10 different brands with no adjustments or changes made to them. Resulting in camel toes, not being squat proof and an unflattering fit.

2. AVOID No Gusset

But honestly, have you ever questioned why some leggings cause you to develop a camel toe while others do not? Well, the absence of the gusset results in the "Camel Toe" effect. What exactly is this so-called mystical gusset that we keep referring to? A gusset is a triangle that's attached to the garment's crutch. Thanks to this design element, your lady bits can rest comfortably rather than having the seam split you in half. The gusset guards against the infamous "camel toe" while also providing ease and protection.

3. AVOID Big Dominate Seams

The presence of a large, prominent seam in the front and middle of your pants seems to be the worst possible situation. This seam can creep into unwanted areas and can become extremely uncomfortable. Therefore, search for activewear with few or invisible seams as this design is both attractive and cosy.

4. AVOID Short Front Seam

If you are looking at purchasing high-waisted leggings or shorts you need to make sure that the front seam is not too short. This is important because if the seam is too short, it has nowhere else to go and will eventually give you a front wedgie.

5. AVOID Thin Flimsy Fabric

Fabric plays a HUGE role in determining the quality and fit of your activewear. If the fabric is too thin the activewear won't shape and support you. The fabric will also naturally sit in all the wrong places and won’t stay in place during a workout.

6. AVOID Not Squat Proof

There is nothing worse than activewear that's see-through. The type of fabric tells you how it’s going to fit, feel and most of all if it’s going to be see-through. Look for activewear brands who understand the importance of fabric blends and design, go to their reviews and or blog sections to see if they have they understand the technology of making squat-proof activewear.

Activewear To LOOK FOR

1. LOOK FOR Australian Made Activewear

Being Australian-made means that the brand can continuously grow and evolve. When activewear is made onshore it can be designed and suited to your needs. In short, it's designed for you, not for the brand. Australian-made means the brand can adapt to what you want and feedback can be put into action ASAP. When Activewear is Australian made you know for a fact that all the designs are uniquely crafted from scratch, which means there has been a lot of thought, testing and love put into the activewear. However, make sure the brand understands your needs and check that their designs have fulfilled them.

2. LOOK FOR Gusset

Again this is the cradle for your vagina, which is very important.

3. LOOK FOR Minimal/ Invisible Seams:

As mentioned above you don’t want thick dominant front seams on your activewear. Instead, look for workout clothes that have invisible/minimal seams. Just remember that seams are still important as they stop the fabric from bunching at the front so this is why the brand must know what they're doing as there is a lot to it.

4. LOOK FOR Correct Length Front Seam

Again make sure the leggings and or shorts have a minimal front seam that is not too short as the length determines if the seam will end up in your vagina or not.

5. LOOK FOR High-Quality Fabric

Make sure the brand uses high-quality fabric, and look for a blend that contains two or more fabrications. Like polyester and spandex

6. LOOK FOR Squat Proof Activewear

This comes down to the correct fabric and if the design has allowed enough fabric through the bum area. The fabric should be stretchy with the correct GSM. Also, you must get the correct size because if you get a size too small you will stretch the fabric past its max stretch and over time the leggings will become see-through. If you're ever unsure about what size you are in a certain brand make sure you contact them.

Conclusion

When shopping for new activewear check that the pieces are Australian-made with high-quality fabric. Do your research and make sure the designs of the garments are camel-toe and squat-proof.
