The Vertical’s Shams Charania reports that the Atlanta Hawks will receive Mike Dunleavy and a 2019 first round pick from the Cavaliers in exchange for Kyle Korver. Per the report, Atlanta is searching for a third team to take Dunleavy but he may end up sticking with the Hawks for the time being.
The Cavaliers and Hawks are still finalizing the terms of the trade, with a 2019 first-round pick and Mike Dunleavy Jr. going to Atlanta, league sources said.
The Hawks have been searching for a third team to acquire Dunleavy Jr., but he could park in Atlanta for now, league sources told The Vertical.
Charania also reports that the Hawks are engaged in discussions with several teams for forward Paul Millsap and that the team is motivated to move him sooner rather than later. Among teams interested are Toronto, Denver, Sacramento and Philadelphia

The Atlanta Hawks have reportedly traded Kyle Korver to the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
The Cavaliers’ J.R. Smith injured his thumb in late December, and he is expected to miss an extended amount of time after needing surgery. Charania tweeted the news on Thursday evening.

In 32 games this season, Korver has started 21 of them, averaging nearly 28 minutes per game, averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. Korver’s numbers have been in decline since the 2014-15 season, and had been coming off the bench for the Hawks.
Korver first came to the Hawks for the 2012-13 season after a two-year stint in Chicago with the Bulls. He was one of four Atlanta Hawks to make the All-Star Game in 2014-15, shooting a crisp 49.2 percent from three point range, and 12.1 points per game, the second best mark in his career.
