Chad Jackson is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Westbury, NY who attends Hicksville High School. Young athletic build with good present strength for his age and plenty more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight balanced stance with a toe tap load, can get the foot down late at times, has quick hands and and stays short and direct to the ball, a bit downhill in his swing path, has good feel for the barrel with a middle of the field approach, was well timed in the games, good swing approach to build on as he gets stronger. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has a good set up behind the plate, stays square and balanced well, over the top arm action can be shortened, has some young arm strength and carry and makes accurate throws. Plenty athletic enough to keep improving behind the plate.
