Speyeria Idalia(Regal Fritillary) -Female -Verso -Indiana, USA -(3.5 in wingspan). This butterfly once occupied tallgrass prairies in North America from the upper Great Plains to the Atlantic coast. However, it's habitat( tallgrass prairies ) has declined by over 99% and consequently it is now Rare and nearly extinct east of the Appalachians.
