Nymphaea capensis zanzibariensis "king of the blues"

Classic wintering lilies do not offer blue or purple color. Here it is in its most striking form. For its growth, the most suitable hot and standing water is up to a maximum depth of 50 cm. There is no need to worry about special containers for summer cultivation outside of a large water surface. It blooms tirelessly. In the containers, fertilize with each addition of water. Leaves outside the water level are susceptible to direct sunburn.

Overwinters at home or in the cellar at temperatures around 10C.
