S Club fans are questioning if one member "ages backwards" after seeing recent photographs of her. Tina Barrett, who joined the band in 1999, has recently celebrated her birthday - leading to many questioning her age.

In a post celebrating her 47th birthday on September 16, Tina posted a series of photographs alongside the caption '21 again'. One photograph showed Tina, who was born in 1976, stretching in a gold sparkly two-piece.

Another photograph showed her seven-year-old son Roman in the same pose at a restaurant, as well as her blowing out the candles on her birthday cake.

One fan replied they believe she could get away with saying she was 21, adding "I doubt anyone would think twice about it". A second said: "Queen of not aging at all. Happy birthday Tina! May you have a wonderful day and may all your wishes come true big hugs."

Other recent Instagram posts are flooded with comments about Tina's youthful appearance. One said: "Tina you look stunning! You have not aged at all!"

Another added: "I swear you haven't aged a day since you guys put out your first album!" Another dubbed Tina "flawless" adding she doesn't age". One Instagram follower said: "Tina I've had a crush on your for over 20 years. You haven't aged a day." Another asked Tina if she "ages backwards".

Tina was one of the original members of S Club. As a seven piece they were known for hits including Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’ and their debut Bring It All Back.

They were originally created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller in 1998 and disbanded in 2003. They briefly got back together in 2014 to perform a medley of their best-known songs for the BBC Children In Need appeal.

The group announced in February they were reforming for a 25th anniversary reunion tour. After the death of bandmate Paul Cattermole, Hannah Spearritt announced she would not be joining the band. The five-piece, who are now raising awareness of the British Heart Foundation after Paul's death, are still planning on embarking on their UK and Ireland arena tour later this year, which they said will be a “celebration of all the hits”.

It will begin on October 12 at Manchester’s AO Arena before continuing to cities including London, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Liverpool.
