The Special Olympics inspire
All humankind to strive to be
The creation of God's desire
To live in peace and harmony,
To share with all the best of love,
Encouraging each other to
Excel with what each is made of,
To better be in all we do.
The differences of intellect,
As differences of other kind,
Should not divide, but should connect.
Goodness of heart, goodness of mind.

God is in each woman and man,
Inspiring 'together we can.'
