Struggling To Survive Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Struggling To Survive

Definitely, a lie has no legs to stand
Yet, it has got long unclean hands-
Too long a tongue to dominate upon
Talk, taste, harass and humiliate truth.

Lie is so sweet, so rich and resourceful
Powerful enough to lead unlike truth
Blind, yet not deaf and dumb like truth
Always followed by great wit and wisdom.

What to talk of saints, priests or souls divine
All dead and worthless at appoint of time-
Lie is jealous of within, for not being truth
Yet, truth is left all alone, struggling to survive.
