The Bees took an early 1-0 lead in the first and from there, the home team ran away with the game as all nine Salt Lake batters collected at least a hit, while the pitching staff whiffed the Isotopes nine times.

Isotopes starter John Lannan went the distance in the loss, despite giving up seven runs, five earned, on 16 hits, he threw just 106 pitches, 76 strikes. Albuquerque's seven hits in the games came from seven different players.

An RBI single from Rock Cats catcher Tommy Murphy (No. 12 PuRP) in the fourth inning brought home left fielder Mike Tauchman with the only run in the completion of a suspended game from Saturday as New Britain pitchers Shane Carle and Matt Flemer combined to pitch eight shutout innings and Carlos Estevez earned his first save of the season.

Rock Cats closer gave up a pair of runs in the seventh innings as New Britain dropped the full game it played against Richmond Monday. Tauchman drove in third baseman Jayson Langfels with a squeeze bunt in the sixth for  the Rock Cats' only run.

Low-A - Asheville Tourists 6, Kannapolis Intimidators 1

Asheville took advantage of a Kannapolis error while putting up four runs in the third inning, but the Tourists paid the price with two of their players leaving the game with injuries. Wes Rogers was hit by a pitch in the helmet, and Forrest Wall appeared to injure his shoulder diving back to second base on a pickoff. Luis Jean capped the four-run frame with an RBI-triple, scoring Drew Weeks from first base.

In addition to the four-run third, Tourists catcher Dom Nunez (No. 13 PuRP) hit a two-run home run in the seventh to provide some insurance. Asheville starter Helmis Rodriguez (No. 23 PuRP) pitched seven shutout innings in the win.

The Hawks once again got after the Aquasox starting pitching, picking up four runs in four innings, highlighted by a Luis Castro home run.

Right fielder Yonathan Daza was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a home run in the loss, as Hawks pitching gave up four runs in the fourth and five in the seventh.

With two out in the ninth inning, Josh Banuelos hit what looked to be a game-tying 3-run homer to right field, but Sam Hilliard made a leaping catch at the wall, stealing the home run, and giving the Rockies an 8-5 win over the Idaho Falls Chukars Monday night at Suplizio Field.

Rockies shortstop Jonathan Piron, a late addition to the lineup replacing the scratched Brendan Rodgers, was 3-for-5 with a home run and three runs driven in.

Shortstop Pedro Gonzalez was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and his sixth home run of the season as the Rockies produced 19 hits in the win, moving to 13-13 on the season.
