She reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 20 on 7 August 2006. On 4 July 2011, she reached No. 1 of the WTA doubles rankings. Srebotnik won four singles titles on the WTA Tour and was a steady top-30 player for several years. However, she had her best results on the doubles circuit, winning 39 titles, including one Grand Slam title (Wimbledon 2011), as well as five Grand Slam titles in mixed doubles.

Her career-high WTA rankings are No. 35 in singles and No. 56 in doubles. She has won five WTA Tour titles; three in singles and two in doubles. Hercog also enjoyed success on the ITF Women's Circuit, winning 14 singles and five doubles titles. She is the Slovenian No. 2 in women's tennis. Partnering with Jessica Moore, she won the 2008 French Open and Wimbledon Championships junior titles in the doubles competition.

Grega Žemlja
Grega Žemlja (born 29 September 1986) is a retired Slovenian tennis player. He has won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour. In 2012, he reached the third round of the US Open, the first Slovenian male player ever to reach that stage in a Grand Slam tournament. He is also the first Slovenian ATP player who in 2013 reached third round at Wimbledon. He reached his highest ATP ranking of World No. 43 in singles in May 2013, becoming the first Slovene ATP player to reach the top 50. Žemlja also became the first Slovene player earning over 1 million US dollars in prize money, and he is the highest-paid Slovene player in history. He represents his country as a member of Slovenia Davis Cup team. - 511 VOTESMaja Matevžič (born 13 June 1980) is a former professional WTA tennis player from Slovenia. Both her most recent WTA singles and WTA doubles matches were played on 21 August 2005 at Toronto. Maja retired because of the injuries in September 2006. Her last tournament was in Portorož, Slovenia, where she played doubles with Tina Križan. Maja is now opening a tennis school in Slovenia. She will pass on her knowledge to boys and girls in Slovenia.
- 611 VOTESAljaž Bedene (born 18 July 1989) is a professional tennis player from Slovenia. He was naturalised British and played with this nationality from 2015 to 2017, returning to represent Slovenia in 2018. He has won five Futures and 14 Challenger singles titles. In doubles he has won one Challenger title and two Futures titles. His highest ranking is no. 43 in singles (achieved on 19 February 2018) and no. 127 in doubles (achieved on 7 October 2013). He represented Slovenia when he turned pro in 2008. On 31 March 2015, Bedene was granted UK citizenship and represented Great Britain, but the International Tennis Federation has rejected his application to represent Great Britain in the Davis Cup as he had previously played three dead rubbers for Slovenia. After his appeals failed, Bedene switched his representation to his birth country of Slovenia for the 2018 season.

Blaž Kavčič
Blaž Kavčič (born 5 March 1987) is a Slovenian professional tennis player. He turned professional in 2005. He considers clay his favourite surface. He was the highest ranked Slovenian male player ever, achieving a career-high of World No. 68 in August 2012, until Aljaž Bedene began to play for Slovenia again in January 2018, overtaking him with a career high ranking of 49. He became first Slovenian ATP singles player to: achieve a Top 100 ranking, win a Grand Slam main draw match and perform at the Summer Olympics. Tadeja Majerič (born 31 August 1990, in Maribor) is a Slovenian tennis player. Majerič has won nine singles and six doubles title on the ITF circuit. On 25 November 2013, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 111. Maša Zec Peškirič (born 21 January 1987) is a Slovenian former tennis player. In her career, she won 14 singles titles and ten doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 15 June 2009, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 93. On 19 October 2009, she peaked at number 130 in the doubles rankings. Tina Pisnik
Tina Pisnik (born 19 February 1981) is a former professional tennis player from Slovenia. Pisnik turned professional since 1999. Pisnik's highest singles ranking was world number 29, which she reached on 12 January 2004. Her highest doubles ranking was world number 63 on 3 April 2000. Tina Križan
Tina Križan (born 18 March 1974) is a former Slovenian professional tennis player. Known primarily for her achievements playing doubles, as the first Slovenian in the 90' she reached a career-high singles ranking of 95, including a win over Jana Novotna and a career-high doubles ranking of 19 in 2002, including wins over Martina Navratilova, Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario, Ana Ivanović, Flavia Penetta... She has won 6 WTA doubles titles and has been Runner-up in more than 10 WTA doubles events, she has also won 10 ITF tournaments. Tina represented Slovenia in doubles at the Olympics in 1992, 2000 and 2004 (both latter years partnered with Katarina Srebotnik). She qualified twice for the doubles season end Masters Championships in Munich and Los Angeles. Tina Križan holds the record for FED CUP appearances for her country, representing Slovenia in 46 ties playing a record 72 matches. She graduated from Maribor University in 2004.
