UPDATED: AUG 20, 2023 330 ml can from Vinbudin in Akureyri, Iceland. Pours a crystal clear dark mahogany color with a beige head and great retention. Very good lacing. Light roasted malts aroma. The taste follows the nose: Toasted and lightly roasted malt flavor throughout. Super clean and smooth. Light body. Medium carbonation. No bitterness and no coffee notes. Very tasty. A good finish to my vacation beers!

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2022 Bouteille. Robe brune très foncée, presque opaque et avec un mince voile de mousse beige. Arômes de malt grillé, cacao dilué, minéraux, léger café et caramel, raisin. En bouche, malt grillé et chocolat noir, côté herbacé venant des houblons, café americano, minéraux. Finale herbacée et caramélisé, un peu de raisin, chocolat à la toute fin. Texture légère et huileuse, corps mince. Bien, simple et efficace.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2019 Color marrón rojizo, cristalina. Dos dedos de espuma con buena retención. Aroma a malta tostada, notas herbales y de pan. Gusto a cereal, ligero pan integral y toffee, un punto amargor herbal. Cuerpo acuoso. Cervezs de carácter maltoso sin misterios.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2019 On tap at The Beer Spa Restaurant & Bar, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a hint of caramel. Flavour is nice and malty, with bready malt, some caramel and dark red fruits. Not all that complex, but it’s nice and malty. Good stuff.

Bottle from Vinbudin, Hevragerdi. Appearance - deep amber to chestnut. Attractive off white lacing. Nose - malt loaf with suggestion of raisin too. Taste - more malt loaf, going into molasses. Palate - medium bodied, creamy in texture. Nice tapered finish. It has the weight in the mouth of at least a Dubbel. Overall - served quite cold so impressed with the strength of the malty notes coming through. Really enjoyable.

On tap at Saeta Svinid in Reykjavik. Brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma is caramel, burnt toast, cigarette ash. Bittersweet. Finishes with burnt notes, light coffee. Good.

Pite w browarze. Łagodnie karmelkowe, trochę zbyt słodkie. Średnie piwo zdecydowanie nie powala ale do spożycia.
