Chloeia flava (Pallas, 1766)

Chloeia is a genus of marine Polychaeta worms. The body is elliptical,segmented and covered with fin, sharp and venomous whitish calcareous bristles or setae.This hairy-like bristles are sharp and can easily penetrate bare skin.Do not touch bristleworms!

Chloeia flava eats on coral polyps, sponges, anemones, hydroids and tunicates.
