Polycarpa pigmentata (Herdman, 1906)

Polycarpa pigmentata is a large sea squirt with a wrinkled leathery body and a pair of siphons.This sea squirt inhabit hard substrates in shallow water with a good water movement.The body is covered by a lot of other organism, including other tunicates.

This large solitary sea squirt is a suspension feeder.
