Calliostoma gloriosum Dall, 1871

The shell is light salmon or orange-brown in colour , ornamented with alternate patches of light yellow and chestnut-brown.Calliostoma Gloriosum is omnivore, but prefers sponges.This species lives on seaweed and kelp.

Similar species : Calliostoma ligatum is smaller and more distinctly banded in colour.
