Thylacodes grandis (Gray, 1842)

Thylacodes is a genus of sea snails, in the family Vermetidae, the worm snails. Species in this genus have no operculum.The tube diameter is around an inch (25mm).

They are usually cemented with a calcareous tube onto a hard surface. Thylacodes grandis feeds on microorganism.
