Heliacus implexus (Mighels, 1845)

Heliacus implexus is usually found associated with subtidal zoanthids, probably Zoanthus sp.

Colour yellowish or creme with narrow obscure darker flames, peripheral ribs with tan blotches or flames. They may be distinguished from the shells of Heliacus sterkii by their lighter color, less numerous marginal brown spots.
