Amalda australis, commonly known as The southern olive or Southern Ancilla , is a medium-sized sea snail, a gastropod mollusc of the family Olividae, the olives.
Predatory snail. Hunts from just underneath the sediment, leaving distinctive trails. The siphon usually extends above the sand/mud.
