Leucosolenia eleanor Urban, 1906

Commonly known as the Eleanor's Calcareous Sponge, Tube Sponge or Lacy Ball Sponge.This calcareous Sponge is a filter feeder and a coldwater species.

This white tube ball sponge get to 5-15cm in diameter and attached to substrates by a thin stalk.

Similar to the spaghetti ball sponge Leucosolenia nautilia.
