Pacifigorgia irene is shallow water net gorgonian that can reach a size of 80cm x 90cm.
Like all gorgonians of the Eastern Pacific, this beauty is azooxanthellate and relies on plankton capture.
The large, fine and reticulated surface is perfect for this purpose.

The color of the gorgonian ranges from dark purple / dark pink / light pink to colorless, its edges are usually greenish.
