Info

Aseraggodes therese is a benthic sole that occurs on sand flats, boulder zones, or reefs, and is often buried in burrows in the sand.
It is currently only known to be found around the Hawaiiian Islands and the Midway Islands in the Central Pacific.

The sole's food list includes mostly small crustaceans, including filigree ghost crabs.

The name of this species is Aseraggodes therese in honor of Therese Hayes, one of the collectors of the holotype.
