Babelomurex japonicus (Dunker, 1882)

Babelomurex japonicus, common name Japanese Latiaxis, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.

Feeds exclusively on the polyps of the colonies of scleractinian stony corals.
