Bolma andersoni is a sea snail from the family Turbinidae, the turban snails. Members of the family have a thick-walled, gyroscopic shell and have a calcareous operculum to close the shell opening.
The body of Bolma andersoni has a conical shape, is brown or red-brown. The 6-7 whorls are striped obliquely without lamellae. The operculum is short, oval, brown inside, with four whorls.
