Tubulophilinopsis lineolata belongs to the family Aglajidae.The family Aglajidae includes elongate sea snails with a small internal shell. Most of them are nocturnal.The headshield slug Tubulophilinopsis lineolata is distributed throughout the Tropical Indo-West Pacific on the lives on sandy bottom.

This sea slug is a predator,feeds on polychaete worms, flatworms and other opisthobranchs.
