Emarginula octaviana Coen, 1939

Emarginula octaviana is a sea slug belongs to the family Fissurellidae, the keyhole limpets. These limpets have a circular opening at the apical end of the shell, which serves both as an excurrent and anal opening.

The size of the white shell Emarginula octaviana varies between 7 mm and 15 mm. This Slit limpet feeds on algae.
