Coeloplana astericola Mortensen, 1927

Coeloplana astericola is a benthic ctenophores.The Creeping Comb Jelly is distributed throughout tropical waters of the western Pacific.It moves like a flatworm and lives on the sea stars, including Echinaster luzonicus.

Coeloplana astericola is nocturnal and its feeding tentacles catch the planktonic prey.
