This treatment will be conducted with professional methods such as compression and expulsion of milk using hands-on work on your chest and armpit area to help soothe and heal swollen and painful breasts.
*The techniques we use are unique to Rejoice Pregnancy and is not the same as breasts massages commonly conducted. Mothers will therefore not need to be worried of inflammation of the breast tissues. (A common occurrence of breast massages)

Within 12-48 hours, it would be easier to get back on track with breastfeeding normally. However, if left untreated, your breast engorgement could go on for 7-10 days and may even return sometime after. Breast engorgement left untreated can lead to Mastitis.
Breast engorgement is when a mother has full and heavy breasts. It usually happens because the mother has missed a breastfeeding session or when you stop feeding for a prolonged period of time. Having prolong breast engorgements may result in pain, discomforts or worse.
