STONE INSTALLATION
For over 60 years, Rockcastle Stone Masonry has been in the business of creating and installing some of the most intricate and immaculate stone installation projects you can imagine.
From fireplaces and chimneys, to house veneer, miles of stone walls and fences, entrances, horse barns, landscapes ... you name it and they either created it or put stone on it.

THE PROCESS
We start by quarrying some of the finest solid stone layers found anywhere in Kentucky. Our stone comes from many different locations throughout Kentucky. By gathering from different locations this allows us to blend and coordinate some of the most beautiful colors and textures to best match each individual project.
Our stone is carefully broken to the perfect size using several of Kentuckys largest and most advanced state of the art hydraulic stone breakers. We break our stone an average of 3 to 5.5 inches wide allowing for a range of applications. For best results we recommend a foundation ledge width of 6 inches.

ABOUT
This hand painted sign gives a little insight to how it all began. Wendell Renner started working in stone as a teenager back in the early 1960's. As his family grew so did his business. Over the years his business branched off into many different avenues of masonry work and has spurred the start-up of many stone masonry companies all around Kentucky. This sign hangs on the wall at his office in Lexington and is a constant reminder of where, when, and how it all began many years ago.
A lot of things have changed over the years but the quality, service and commitment remain the same.
