Rose State welcomes visitors from Guatemala for Women’s History Month Published March 8, 2021

WomenOn Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the Introduction to Diversity class within the Humanities Division at Rose State College will welcome three important visitors to campus.   In observance of Women’s History Month, three Guatemalan women will be on campus sharing insight into their culture, the Guatemalan education system, and recent natural disasters.  These ladies represent the cities of Guatemala City and Quetzaltenango, which are the two largest cities in Guatemala.  One of our participants is currently attending the Universidad de San Carlos, Centro Universitarito De Occidente.  She will provide an insight into the Guatemalan education system.  If you would like to attend via Zoom please email Carla Robison at crobison@rose.edu for the Zoom link.
