Jermaine Sellers

Born in Joliet, Illinois, Jermaine Sellers was encouraged to follow his voice. Very involved in church choir as a youth, Sellers went on a three-month tour overseas, and landed record contract in London. In 2007, he appeared on "Sunday Best" (BET, 2007-2015), which led to an acting role in the touring company of Tyler Perry's musical play "The Marriage Counselor" in 2008. In 2009, Sellers competed on "American Idol" (Fox, 2002-2016; ABC, 2018-), and made it to the top 24 before being knocked out of the competition. After a supporting performance in the indie "Leave it on the Floor" (2011), it was announced that Sellers would be a series regular on "Your Husband Is Cheating On Us" (Bravo, 2018-), a show that follows the behind the scenes relationships between the cast and crew of a touring theater troupe.
