Paul H Was interesting from the start although a little disjointed. Then it began to weave together very nicely. Continually interesting to the surprise ending. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/24 Full Review David A Awe is ultimately dark but is also filled with humor, social commentary, and whimsy. It is clever, bold, and creative, like a mashup of Parasite and Black Mirror. I look forward to Varma's next production! Manoj Kumar R The Indian Express Awe has high entertainment value, strong emotions, progressive characters, thrills, chills, comedy and some philosophy. Dec 20, 2018 Full Review Baradwaj Rangan Film Companion An ambitious, meticulous mix of genres is a tad overcooked but also fun to think back on. Rated: 3/5 Sep 5, 2018 Full Review J Hurtado ScreenAnarchy This is the kind of film that has the potential to put Indian regional cinema on the map. High concept filmmaking is always welcome in any language, and Prasanth Varma's film definitely fits the bill. May 25, 2018 Full Review Neeshita Nyayapati The Times of India Prasanth has delivered the tale in a manner that has probably never been explored in Tollywood, and maybe even in Indian cinema. Rated: 4/5 Feb 17, 2018 Full Review Priyanka Sundar Hindustan Times The film left me awed with its technical brilliance, almost flawless writing and sheer capability of the debut director.
