Jeff S Strange movie that folds together neatly in the end. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Steve D A product of its time and not a good one. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie Love James Wong Howe cinematographer Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/20 Full Review bill t Pretty much a "Why did this need to get remade?" movie. In this case, Rashomon is pretty much exactly remade, only this time it's a western. Some curious casting abound, from William Shatner as a priest, to Paul Newman as a mexican bandit (!!). All in all, pretty good, if you absolutely don't like watching classic Japanese movies. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Solomon M Akin to Sergio Leone's "A Fistful of Dollars" it is a great homage to Akira Kurosawa's "Rashomon".
