      Vengeance – Spartacus

2012 Drama Action Adventure Fantasy List
Reviews 87% 250+ Ratings Audience Score Torn from his homeland and separated from the woman he loves, Spartacus is forced into slavery and condemned to the bloody gladiator's arena in Rome. As he navigates the violent and brutal world he realizes that not all battles are fought in the arena, and that he must overcome treachery and temptation to survive. This retelling of the story of Spartacus is rife with blood, violence and sex, set to the sounds of jarring guitars, so it's definitely not for the younger crowd. Asma Sason 1 was shit but then? Oh it's so bad but so good Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Rasheed H Vengeance. Through and through this season lends itself to that title. The action is faster and heavier, the sexual aspects are toned down (not eliminated, but toned down), the blood flows more freely and the story lends itself to the same cascading effect as the prequel. Every new episode feels like it's building on to the next big moment and then that moment is just a catalyst for the NEXT big moment. One of my favorite seasons in all of TV. The Spartacus torch itself had to sadly be passed, but the cast, crew and Spartacus himself held it high and ran with it gloriously. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/01/23 Full Review Alexander M Has to be my favorite show of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/22 Full Review trevor t Okay, historically it's a bit rough but I really enjoyed this series. The storylines are very good and visually it is excellent. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A very underrated show. Excellent casting that grew into their roles. Great writing and a artistic, gritty, bloody art style that really makes it unique. Very glad I gave it a chance. Sad to see Andy Whitfield die before finishing what I'm sure would have been an epic role he would have grown in, having seen how the story progressed. Took me a while to get used to Liam McIntyre but he made that role his own. Hell, I teared up on his death. A great ending. Slow clap. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It's alright. Not as good as Season 1 in my opinion. The actor for Spartacus just isn't as good and doesn't feel right and the story felt like it dragged on way too long. It just feels like nothing much happened in the first like 8 episodes.
